The Rev. Chris J. Antal brought the Drones Quilt Project to the Unitarian Universalist Congregation at Rock Tavern (UUCRT), New York. On Pearl Harbor Day, December 7, 2014, he preached a sermon called “Droning On.” In the sermon Rev. Antal asks whether FDR’s condemnationn of the Japanese for “innocence violated” by “dastardly attacks” in his “Day of Infamy” speech delivered 73 years ago might rightly be said of the U.S. today. The UUCRT is hosting the Drone Quilt Project through the Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday; members and friends are busy constructing the next quilt.
