How to make a block

Blocks should be 10″ x 10″ and made of cotton fabric or a cotton blend–something that won’t stretch.  We encourage you to include your name as as well as the name of a victim on the block.   To receive the name of a victim, please send an e-mail to Leah Bolger:  leahbolger@comcast.net and one will be assigned.  80% of the drone victims have not been identified, so if you would prefer, you may make a block that says “Anonymous,” “Unidentified Woman,” or something similar.

PLEASE make sure to leave a margin around your artwork so that it is not obscured in the seam allowance when the blocks are sewn together.  You may embroider, cross stitch, appliqué, quilt piece, draw, paint, or whatever you like.

When your block is finished, please mail it to:  Leah Bolger, 3740 SW Western Blvd, Corvallis, OR  97333.
